I'll start with "All-About-Arden" day or "Triple A" day! Arden probably finds it confusing when we say we are having Triple A day because she thinks every day is about her but this one was extra special. On a Saturday back in February, we went to NYC for a full day of things just for Arden to enjoy. We always enjoy a day trip to the City but that usually involves shopping and eating and cab rides here and there so this time we made plans just for her entertainment.
We started the morning at Madison Square Garden for Sesame Street Live. We sat towards the back so I am not sure she really understood that there was a life size Elmo, Abby and Big Bird on stage but she loved the show. I don't have pics from inside the theater but the lobby was set up with scenes from the show and of course we have pics with almost every character!

After the show (which actually ran a little long and Arden, along with most of the other kids, got bored so we left a few minutes early. Shouldn't Sesame Street know better than to have a show that is too long?!) we headed to Grand Central Station for lunch. Neither Kevin nor I had ever been there, such a pretty and fun place! They were shooting a commercial the day we were there! I didn't get many pics inside the station but took this one at lunch, a personal favorite...
After lunch we went to the Children's Museum of Manhattan. This was four floors of non-stop things to do, things to touch, things to climb on and things to climb in but it was busy! Arden didn't seem to mind and ran from one area to the next...

When we left the Museum we jumped in a cab and as soon as I sat down I found a boarding pass that someone left behind...it was a ticket from XNA (Fayetteville) to LGA (LaGuardia), I didn't recognize the name of the person but such a small world to find that out of millions of cabs in NYC!
It was a great day, even looking back at these pictures makes me smile.
